A few weeks ago, I wrote here about how I became a vegetarian 11 years ago. Whenever I order food online in Brussels, I use the Uber Eats app which is great because I can see in real-time where my food is. When it comes to going in person to eat, I like to go to places mentioned here and here.
Last week, I was invited to go and eat at a buffet restaurant that opened just a few weeks ago near the Schuman metro station where I live, called Pure Veg India. As the name suggests, it is a purely vegetarian buffet restaurant. The quality of the food at Pure Veg India is good (not oily and not spicy). Being a thali buffet restaurant, for just 15 €, one can eat as much as one’s belly desires from the different kind of dishes, salats, breads, and sweets they have. From what I understood, they change the menu daily. The only thing that is not included in this price is the drinks. For Mango Lassi (they also have a vegan option) or any other beverage, one has to pay separately.
This was my first time ever eating in a buffet restaurant, and I had a good experience. If you want to try affordable and good Indian vegetarian food in Brussels, give them a go.
