When the HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus printer doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi anymore

If you own an old HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus printer (like I do), which doesn’t want to connect to your WIFI network anymore because you recently changed your Internet provider, e.g., to Telekom, don’t think about buying a new printer just yet.

As you can also read in this post, all you have to do is change the encryption type from WPA3 to WPA2, as most old printers use the old WPA2 encryption type.

To do this, simply log in to your router admin page at http://192.168.2.1/, and go to Network, Wi-Fi settings, Name and encryption, and change Encryption type to WPA2 (secure), as you can see in the image below.
